Architects’ Journal Retrofit Award

The Old Library is a 2022 Architects’ Journal Retrofit Award winner.

The project has extensively refurbished, re-modelled and extended the Grade II Listed Andrew Carnegie Library, in Tuebrook, Liverpool. Alongside the charity Lister Steps’ core childcare function the project provides multi-functional community spaces, a café, hot desks, and office accommodation.

We are thrilled that the project is being recognised and the award is well deserved by all the team, Lister Steps and the local community.  Delighted we could play our part.
